All land and maritime borders have now been opened, according to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“Fully vaccinated travelers would be permitted admission through land and sea borders without the need for PCR and Antigen tests from the place of origin.”
“Citizens and foreign residents in Ghana who are not completely vaccinated will be required to complete a 48-hour PCR test before to arrival and will be offered immunization at the point of entry,” he stated in his 28th Covid-19 update on Sunday March 27.
He also stated that fully vaccinated travelers would be exempt from PCR and Antigen Tests.
“Fully vaccinated tourists would not require PCR and Antigen Tests from the country of embarkation to allow admission into the country through the KIA,” he announced in his 28th Covid-19 address to the nation on Sunday, March 27.
“Citizens and foreign residents in Ghana who have not been fully vaccinated must undergo a 48-hour PCR test prior to travel, an antigen test upon arrival, and immunization at the KIA.”
