At a makeshift takoradi market, a fire burns down numerous stores

Several stores at a makeshift Takoradi market were destroyed by a fire that broke out around 2 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022.

The market was set up for Takorad Market Circle businesses to provide temporary housing while the main market was being rebuilt.

The source of the fire is unknown, however the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is on the scene putting out the flames.
