ECG gets new Managing Director

Samuel Dubik Masubir Mahama has been named the new Managing Director of the Ghana Electricity Company by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (ECG).

Mr. Kwame Agyeman-Budu has stepped down.

The Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, signed a letter to the Minister of Energy, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, dated May 13th.

The Energy Minister was given the responsibility of taking the appropriate steps to make the appointment official.
