For my father’s burial, the Chief of Staff gave me $50,000 – Afia Schwarzenegger


Frema Opare, the Chief of Staff, was essential in the preparation of the funeral rituals for Afia Schwarzenegger’s late father, according to radio and television star Afia Schwarzenegger.



According to her, the Chief of Staff gave her and her family $50,000 to cover both the burial and the transfer of her father’s coffin to Ghana.


In an Instagram video, Afia said that even after the contribution, Frema Opare pushed her to let her know if the family had any further expenses so she could assist them.


The actress expressed her gratitude to Frema Opare for her significant gift, noting that the family may not have to incur any additional costs.


Afia Schwarzenegger knelt and prayed for the Chief of Staff, thanking her for her efforts in ensuring her father’s funeral was pleasant.


Meanwhile, the actress disclosed in other posts that many people assisted her in giving her father a proper funeral.


Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), also offered a 4,000 gift at the funeral.


On March 12, 2022, Afia Schwarzengger’s late father was laid to rest at the KNUST in Kumasi, Ghana’s Ashanti Region.


A number of officials and celebrities attended the event, including Stacy Amoateng, Tracy Boakye, Brother Sammy, and Opambour, among others.
