Former Black Stars striker in critical condition after car crash

Emmanuel Baffour, a former Ghana international, was engaged in a horrific accident in the United States of America.

 

 

According to reports received by coversourcenews, Baffour was returning from his customary night shift job when the sad tragedy occurred.

The ex-Ashanti Gold SC attacker is currently hospitalized and in critical condition at a Maryland hospital.

 

On Wednesday morning, about 6:30 a.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a collision on Briggs Chaney Road and Great Oak Lane in Cloverly.

 

According to the MCFRS Chief Spokesperson, three patients were carried to the hospital, one adult [Baffour] with Priority 1 (life-threatening) trauma and two with Priority 3 trauma.

 

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time, however the road has apparently been cleared to allow free flow of traffic.

He made his national team debut after an outstanding season with AshGold, where he scored 21 goals and won the top scorer award in 2012.
