John Dramani Mahama, a former president, has expressed sympathy to Justice Joyce Bamford Addo, a former speaker of parliament and Supreme Court justice.
The Friday visit comes in the wake of her sister’s passing. Former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah attended the visit with Mr.
Mahama and signed a book of condolences that had been opened in memory of the deceased. Additionally, Mr. Mahama sent the former Speaker a message of sympathy from the NDC leadership and members. The first female Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament was Madam Bamford Addo.
She worked for the previous Atta-Mills and Mahama administration from 2009 to 2013.
