NPP needs 32 years to turn Ghana into a developed country – Fuseini Issah Issah Fuseini, a former Member of

Former member of Parliament for the Okaikwei North district, has stated that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will require between 24 and 32 years to transform Ghana into a developed country.

 

He indicated that the party is capable of addressing Ghana’s problems.

 

He claims that with Ghanaians’ patience, the party can grow the country to the level of developed nations.

When asked how long the administration needs to transform the country, he told host Johnnie Hughes on TV3 New Day on Monday, May 30 that “…I think we need maybe 24 years, 32 years.” The NPP is a party with the ability to address our core issues, and if Ghanaians are patient and give us 32 years, we can transform Ghana into a highly developed country.”

“I listened to Chairman Wontumi’s speech and found it to be pretty inspiring. He set the tone by saying, “We’re ready for the next election,” he added.

 

In his victory address, Chairman Wontumi stated that the ruling party will undoubtedly break the eight-year cycle in the 2024 general elections.

 

He claimed that the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be powerless to stop the NPP from winning the 2024 elections.

 

“Our campaign of breaking the eight has started from Baba Yara Stadium, NDC cannot stop us,” he declared in his victory speech following the NPP’s Ashanti region election on Saturday, May 28 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
