Actress Rabby Bray isn’t slowing down after graduating from the University of Ghana Business School with an Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A) this year. ‘Juakali,’ a prominent Tanzanian television series, has welcomed the actress to its ensemble.
In an interview yesterday in Accra, she expressed her delight, saying the experience had been extremely beneficial to her career.
Bray describes his experience as “overwhelming” so far. “Tanzanians have been incredibly supportive and loving. On set, we’re having a wonderful time. This will be an excellent addition to my professional portfolio. I have no qualms about becoming a member of the “Juakali” clan. It has also garnered me an additional 14,790 social media followers, with more on the way, just four days after some of my sequences aired. I’m thinking about learning Swahili so that I can communicate with them and learn more about their culture “,
Bray portrays a devoted friend of the main character, ‘Anna,’ who is on a romantic adventure. Even when Anna loses her confidence, she lends a helpful hand as a friend.
Lamata Leah directed the television series “Juakali,” which also stars Van Vicker, Nadia Buari, Fiifi Coleman, and Patience Ozokor, all of whom are from Ghana. ‘Juakali’ is a DSTV production that airs on DSTV channel 160, ‘Maisha Magic Bongo,’ from Wednesday to Friday at 6:30 p.m. GMT and 3:30 p.m. EAT.
Finally, Rabby Bray promised more surprises for film talent and African cinema aficionados next month in April. The ‘Ultimate Cinema Experience,’ as she called it.
