VIDEO: ‘I Am The Only Artist In Ghana Who Has Been Able To Charge $100K For Three Consecutive Shows’ – Shatta Wale Brags

Shatta Wale, a multi-award-winning singer from Ghana, has acknowledged that he is the most expensive performer in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Giovani Caleb for TV3’s Showbiz 360 program, Shatta Wale revealed that he is the first musician in the nation to charge $320,000 for three straight gigs in Ghana.

The head of the Shatta Movement continued by saying that despite the fact that he was unable to perform at the Cardi B shoe because they broke the contract he gave them, both Afro Nation and the group responsible for bringing Cardi B to Ghana each paid him $100,000 as a performance fee.

“I am the only artiste in Ghana that has been able to charge shows $100,000 three times in a row. And I won’t lie. The first Afro Nation show that they did in Ghana, the first time, they paid me $100,000 cash…Cardi B’s show that was held in Ghana, I was paid another $100,000. I took the money and didn’t go because they violated the contract. That’s what happened because it was a nice agreement.”

Additionally, Shatta Wale disclosed that he did not perform even after Sadiq Abu, a former employee of 3Music, gave him $120,000 because they also broke their contract.

“Sadiq’s Wildaland, I got paid $120,000. If the other artsites want to know, I want to tell them. So if I tell somebody that I’ve been able to make $300,000 from shows in Ghana, they will think I’m bragging.”
